I used www.clubscrap.com paper for this card. Along with CTMH butterfly's and Happy Birthday stamps.  Cross stich Thread purple in color.  I cased Kate's card from her Blog.  My camera is a cheap one so its not the best picture, but I wanted to try posting on this weekend Happy Hour: Hero Arts stamp blog skip hosted by Operation Write Home.

Well my week is nearly done (with work that is).  I am not so sure Blog writing is something I am good at.  I thought I would enjoy posting items on here; I would except I should have considered the fact that I don't know how to write to draw attention to my blog. Or the fact that I don't own a very good camera to take pictures of the cards I want to post.  I have noticed that a lot of crafts posted have supplies used in order for others to make the cards they post.  I have a craft room and lots of stamps but I have never needed to keep the companies name from which I got my products before so I would not how to let someone know where I got something that they really enjoyed seeing on a card.  Oh well I will give it a while longer and see what happens.... If you find yourself bored with all this, please leave a post.  I have no problem stopping...lol

Today is the day after my 42nd Birthday. I went had my nails done, then went and got my hair highlighted.  Feeling like a new woman.  Fixing supper for my family and then I am off to my craft room and do some Christmas cards for my mother.  I will be sure to post some later tonight or even tomorrow.  Happy Crafting everyone....

NO CLUE

OK, not sure if I even know what I am doing.  I was just thinking it would be neat to start sharing some of my homemade cards with others that might find making cards is a great way to De stress oneself from the everyday grind of working 40 hrs a week in a dead end job.  I am not very good at writing and writing is not something I have ever wanted to do.  I would just like to be able to share some cards with others and just see how out of the TIMES I am in making beautiful cards.  I show my co workers and they think WOW how neat, but they don't make cards so of course even a ugly card in my opinion to them looks good.  My family always looks at them and picks ones they like but that really doesn't help me decide if I am any good at making them because of course they love me and are not going to say, gee why do you even do this you are not very good at it, now are they.  So here I sit trying to decide is all this worth just wanting to puff up my own ego.  I will give it a try and see what happens.  Who knows maybe one other person out there in this wonderful world of the internet either feels like me or is just so bored they thought hmm lets read this one.
